It was a good friend and DJ, who told him he should “do something with music”, because he really had “good taste of music, better than most of his colleagues”.  This was a personal turning point.  Steven already had a popular house radio show and decided it was time to get out of his studio and into the clubs.

When Privilege asked him to stay the summer in Ibiza to play deep 3 times a week, Steven didn’t really realise how big this opportunity was.  He was used to play for friends in Belgium, sometimes in big events, sometimes in small ones, but always for friends.  Same story at Privilege; he was just playing for a friend (who happened to run the biggest club in the world).
After that summer, things really took off, with three residencies: WADklub at Queen in Paris, the most famous club of France; Red & Blue in Antwerp and über-gay-club La Démence.

By now, a whole lot of years later, Steven has roamed half of the world with his music going from one club to the other, from one airport to the other, every single weekend.  He calls it relaxing after a week in studio.
He also has a quite popular podcast with a fan base of over 35.000 growing week by week.  But if  there’s a little time left and the Mediterranean weak ass waves allow it, surf’s up!  His favourite pass time.

For the moment Steven still has his residency at La Démence, at the recently revived Discotheque in Barcelona (his new home) and Colours in Cologne.. He has his own party at Red & Blue in Antwerp and is wildly popular on the guest circuit too.
